This Privacy Policy describes how the mobile application Antiscam SMS (“the App”) processes information. The App is developed and published by Damik Dreams (“we”, “us”, “our”).

1. Overview

Antiscam SMS is an SMS application designed to help users identify and protect potentially fraudulent or risky messages. The App works offline and does not send your SMS content or contacts to any server.

2. Data We Access (Permissions)

To provide its core functionality, the App may request the following Android permissions:

• SMS permissions (READ_SMS, RECEIVE_SMS, SEND_SMS, and related SMS/MMS broadcast permissions): Used to display messages, receive incoming SMS/MMS, and send SMS when you use the App as your default SMS application.
• Contacts (READ_CONTACTS): Used only to display contact names instead of phone numbers in conversation lists and message screens.
• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used to show message notifications.

3. What We Collect

We do not collect personal data on our servers. The App does not use analytics SDKs and does not transmit your messages, contacts, or identifiers to the developer.

4. Local-Only Processing

All processing happens on your device:

• Scam-risk detection is performed locally (for example, detecting messages that contain digits and blacklist words such as “code/kod/код”).
• If you enable PIN protection, protected messages are masked in the App UI until the PIN is entered.
• Blacklist words, PIN settings, and protection state are stored locally in app storage.

5. Data Storage

The App stores the following locally on your device:

• Your PIN code (stored locally within app storage)
• Blacklist words you add
• Internal flags indicating whether a message should be protected/hidden in the App

The App does not upload this information anywhere.

6. Sharing and Selling Data

We do not:

• Sell your data
• Share your SMS content or contacts with third parties
• Use your data for advertising personalization

7. Third-Party Services

The App may use Google Play services strictly for:

• Google Play Billing (subscriptions). No SMS content or contacts are shared through Billing. Billing is used only to process payments and subscription status.

The App does not use analytics services.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Security

We keep sensitive processing on-device and minimize data handling. However, no method of storage on a mobile device can be guaranteed 100% secure. Users should protect access to their device (screen lock, etc.).

10. Your Choices

• You can use the App without granting READ_CONTACTS (contact names may not be shown).
• You can change or remove blacklist words inside the App.
• You can change your PIN code inside the App.
• You can uninstall the App to remove locally stored data.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this address. Continued use of the App after changes are published means you accept the updated Policy.
